2 red lights=overheated
wait for the console to cool down. the 2 red lights will stop flashing when it's cooled sufficiently.
if the area is clean (not cluttered), let it cool down for 1 hour

man my shit does this i just pre ordered skyrim got home tonight started playing then boom two flashing lights and my system shut off i feel my xbox on the side and its super duper fuckin hot!! man im soo pissed i will never buy another one again!!!

i sent mine to microsoft they happily repaired it for free. If you got within 3 years then you get free repair on warrenty
