  • Hello theProtea09!

A translation CAN be just as inspired as the originals if done faithfully. Was the AV1611 done right? Then it is just as inspired. If a translation has been mistranslated and is not faithful to the majority of the manuscripts, then it is not inspired and not the word of God. The Bible i hold in my hand is just as inspired as the bible the Apostle Paul held, and both are copies - not the original. Timothy knew the holy Scriptures (not the original autographs).

  • The KJV is a fantastic translation. It is the one i use, however I do not agree with the Baptists when they say that it is the only inspired translation. I believe the original scripture, written in the original languages are inspired. I do not believe any translation is inspired. Would you disagree biblebc?
