A lot of people are surprised to find out that before "The Final Countdown," Europe was a guitar-oriented metal band. Those people were definitely missing out.

Hey, you can't compare ! Arch Enemy only did a cover, that's it. What's more, the style of the bands are very very different imo.

Europe is swedens biggest rock band trough all time, Joey Tempest was one of the worlds greatest singers in the genre rock, John Norum got the award as the worlds best guitar player 2002. Ian Haugland has a awsome talent for beats. They are so great at what they do. was at the consert 26/12-09 They sounds better live than on cd.

Arch Enemy is way more talented than Europe, but I was kind of disappointed with their cover of this song. They could have done way better.

I don't think Europe sucks, by the contrary, I think this is one of the best Glam Metal bands ever.
But this song sounds better with growling vocals in my opinion. Arch Enemy made an awesome job.
But yes, their Megadeth cover is awful.

Yes Raikard I'm a huge Megadeth fan and Arch Enemy did kill Symphony of Destruction absolutely ruined it

i dont have the same opinion europe has the power and they are agressive too...a think that the way joy sings this song shows a lot of ANGER !!! the original song i think is the BEST...GREAT EUROPE.....
