Splinters Of The Tree

Years ago it came to me that Native People of the
Americas...were like a giant tree that was splintered into many pieces...by post 1492 invasions and oppressions. Out of the splinters some have tried to piece together shattered cultures of the First People. Splinters Of The Tree
was one of the songs I created...as on my own journey as a song maker and poet...from time to time...I tried to bind together some of the splinters and turn them into a piece of inspiration.
