This is Lola before she had her beautiful baby Fancy! Lola still loves to be scratched. Now we have to keep getting our nails done :o)

I have a horse named Fancy who I have a video of doing the exact same thing with her lip when I itched her mosquito bite for her haha. :P

Why don't you actually try grooming Lola properly using a rubber curry comb.
That way you wouldn't have to keep having your nails done.

Wow, the horsey really enjoyed that. I liked the part at about 2:23 when it looks like the horse wants to give the lady a "thank you" kiss. Very sweet.

I have been told by people that you are never to touch the back of a horse or else they will kick you. Is this true?

No it isn't true, horses CAN kick if startled or angry, well mannered horses rarely do this as they are used to people contact. Respect their space and their personalities until and when you get to know them. I had one that you couldn't walk behind him or brush him while he was eating. So I respected that gave him his space to eat. People believe this and it DOES happen but they put that fear in children and we carry it with us as adults. Horses can be very gentle loving animals.
