Dreamweaver Course - Duplicate Shopping Cart Lesson 14

http://www.1stoptutorials.com - In this tutorial we are going to duplicate our information from the last tutorial so we have two products now. Once we have done that we need to change the hidden field information in the new shopping cart so it is different than the previous one. Then we will finish up buy tidying everything up and testing our shopping cart to make sure everything is ok. Let me know if you run into any problems.

Another qtn pls, can I view the record in my localhost database instead of paypal, I mean can I put the address of my local root folder, so as to have a record in my database, or will pay pal redirect the records 2 my site, just want 2 be notified if a user make an order.

Hey dahatijjani, for this shopping cart i would say that is not possible because this is a basic cart that allows you to keep the customer from having to go to paypal every-time they want to add something to the cart. I would suggest having a look into some other shopping carts. have a looks at mals cart and see if they have that feature. thanks

thanks for this great video, but does that means its only one user that can make transaction, because in those hidden field, you filled up your email address, that means it is not dynamic, do i have to enter in to the code(hidden field) and put a new email address when another person wants 2 make his own transacction, its kinda confusing, pls bail me out

Hey dahatijjani, thanks for your comment. those hidden fields are for the shopping cart, so the email address that is put in those yellow dots (hidden fields) that is the email address of your PayPal. it should not need to be changed every-time because your PayPal will always stay the same

@1stoptutorials thanks for your quick response Mr.Ali, I really appreciate it, what I meant in the above qtn was, I knw my paypal email is always d same, but how will a new user put his own email when i have already entered mine in the hidden fieild, can I use a record set instead to make d email field dynamic, so that another user can put his email. HEy dahatijjani , thanks for thew comment. A new user should not need to put his email address in. This is all set up to go through paypal so all the user has to do is pay through paypal and that is it. You will get a record from paypal. Let me know how you get on

I used your videos last year and made a few comments then. However, I am now interesting in setting up a shopping cart.

I see you have used ID's with the same name of the page. I thought this wasn't possible, ID are for unique divs, and classes can be used for similar divs.
