@aperfecttoolh462 Top set is like a 72% favourite against the club draw here. That's like running an all in with AKo vs A9s. A9s is bound to win more than 1 out of 4 in this situation. If you can't even take small beats like that, you shouldn't be playing poker at all.

it's poker - bad beats happen. if you dumb enough not to control your BR - it's your problem. full tilt was fine - until the black friday shit happened

he had a set...the other guy hits runner-runner straight...how can this NOT be a bad-beat? morons....

@ikweetbeter sigh i hate to see this. Poker is a mix of variance (the probably of each situation) and skill. When you play well, have a sufficient bankroll for when the bad variance does kick in, and do not tilt, you'll profit. There will be some times where your a huge favorite and lose, but if your doing things right you'll keep those times to a minimum.

people who say poker isnt gambling have eather alot of money or they run good, but as i know poker is gambling and not skilled based cuz u good have the nuts but a donk can break u in half when he donks it on a flush draww and hits his str8

i think its bad beat because she was commited to flush not a straight.... and damn some people are dumb... id never make that call as soon as i saw A on the flop you know its no good. Pure luck this time... and I think she also tried to bully her since opponent only had 10k vs 90k...

@dutchtsa it's a bad beat cause he hits the straight with runner runner and the other dude flops the nuts
