I did this before hearing the "reprise" version, and I can't say how it would have effected my choice of chords. The G chord I didn't use can be found in my "alternate" version, along with the C#7 chord.

  • Great job fingerjazz. You added great colors to a black and white masterpiece. You should be

    very proud of yourself.

  • @peeano57 I really appreciate your comment. Thanks! :)

  • must of hit a nerve you sent me 3 emails, lol

  • @evelskunny Glad you're enjoying this. It's been a while since someone with your particular way of processing information deemed yourself qualified to criticize me. Maybe I should return the favor and criticize your guitar playing. I noticed that you read "guitar books." Do those teach you how to play with feeling? Is it possible to retain all that information and play guitar with feeling simultaneously?

  • @emma1981catlover I think the linguistically impaired find Shakespeare annoying.

  • Also, VictorLepanto made a very interesting comment that I accidently deleted:

    ------

It has always seemed to me that this song is evocative of something mystical. In the description of the observations of ordinary even banal seeming events all around her, it suggests something more. The disconnected actions of those around her high light her own isolation. This is no more about a moment in a diner any more then Rilke's "Panther" is about a caged cat.

  • @fingerjazz Great video. Shakespeare is fucking annoying though.

  • yes i play guitar and piano so i already one up''d ya'' lol and stringed instruments are harder to play, anyone can make notes come out of a piano, its the simplest thing i ever done : )

  • @evelskunny "its not gonna come out right!" Are we talking right and wrong? You mean the right and wrong where you just say it's wrong without being able to explain why it's wrong, because it just "feels" wrong? The problem with that system is that it rewards mindless stupidity.

  • @evelskunny Ever brought a lady to an intense orgasm? I have. You can't do that if you don't "have it in you." But you have to put thought into it. Not only do you have to feel it, you have to put thought into what you're doing or she won't come. Are you satisfied yet? Because I have determined that you are incapable relating to what I'm telling you musically, so I picked something that maybe you can relate to--sex.

  • @evelskunny I like to experience a full range of colors. I like to experience a full range of emotions. Just because someone else can't experience that doesn't mean that I don't have in me. My musical existence doesn't serve the purpose of making it okay for stupid people who don't know what the fuck they're doing to criticize me. And you are very naive in thinking that what you're telling me is new to me. I've heard it before.
