i can never understand comparing local singers as if they were singing the same songs in a competition with the same audience. personally, this is as close to perfectly sung as it can get. the notes were clear, one can identify with the emotions and the delivery was clean without excessive sentimentality. lea is a great singer whether she is singing broadway material or pop ballads or just about any song she so chooses.

these songs are in tagalog with a soul different from broadway. she sang the songs differently, as if she's in broadway. ariel riverea who grew up in canada can sing tagalog songs way better than her who was born, bred and grew up in the philippines.
