The defense industry is a mess, I know, my family owns a lot of stock in multiple defense contracting companies. The defense industry gets a lot of money during wars, but it drops off during peace time. The federal government needs to make responsible long term investments in defense to be prepared, but instead right now we make big purchases during wars and then force these companies into bailout a lot of times, ex. Lockheed Martin.

@hint0122 I'm only interested in punishing the people i mentioned should there be any other decision makers who are culpable be discovered then obviously they should be tried. I don't see how the incoming pres or cabinet should be held accountable just because they didn't cut and run from a situation their country created; they have to do their best to fix it increase in troop level is the solution to bad we didn't the right troop levels to begin with.

I say End the Wars and Cut the Defense Budget in half or 2/3 and put all that money in Universal Healthcare and lowering taxes...
