It doesn't matter what branch you're in, you're a soldier and you may be deployed with Army / Marines doing the same shooting that they do.

Yeah, well technically, Soldiers are Military Personal in the ARMY, Marines and Marines, Airmen are in the Airforce, and Sailors to the Navy. Typically Airmen would get attached to Army units and Sailors would get attached to the Marines. But youre right

Actually I am an Airmen, not a Soldier, and they cannot attach me to an Army or Marine unit. Why? Because I have a mission essential job. I'm one of thousands in the Air Force that are the same. But I have more then enough respect for the Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, and Airmen that fight in combat. My brother is deployed to Afghanistan right now, and I just came back from Iraq. He's Army, I'm Air Force.

Navy does not get attached with the Marines. Marines get attached with the Navy. Marines are a banch off of the Navy and so is the Coast Guard. Army and Air Force stand alone but get deployed to the same places.
