How to save a life - Pacey/Joey/Dawson

Its about the love triangle of Dawson's Creek, Dawson asks Pacey to look after Joey but they fall in love. Joey is faced with a choice between Pacey and Dawson, if she picks Pacey she loses Dawson, if she picks Dawson she loses Pacey and she just can't figure out how to save there friendship, hence the how to save a life...Joey is struggling with painting her wall which acts a as a metaphor for her being to afraid to choose Pacey. I wanted you to know, that out of every single dawsons creek video on here. This is my favorite, and always has been. This video, ironically has got me through a lot, with relationship wise, though we may not have our happy ending like joey and pacey but this song reminds me, and brings back my hope. Good job.

Well yes. Insecurity is Pacey's primary character flaw. We all have them but I would argue that is was something he was always struggling with and didn't always succeed in over-coming. But I would take his insecurities over Dawson's selfishness. He always put Joey first even when it meant letting her go. He did try and understand Dawson's importance in Joey's life and put a lot more effort into it. Dawson came to terms with Joey/Pacey but he had to be dragged kicking and screaming.

I don't really like how irrational Dawson is. He expects Joey to wait for him because they're "soul mates". He dates other people. He also believes he's this hero who wins the girl and doing these weird things makes him better. He definitely should feel hurt, but he doesn't own joey. He acted like Pacey stole her away. They hadn't been together in over a year. He suddenly wants her back after a year?
