  • @PreservingMemories2, She is Mollie Ann Harbert, as far as I know.

  • What year this come out?

  • @bobsixfour , No. 1 in 1969.

  • Didn't see it anywhere on here but I do believe this was recorded at the Astrodome in Houston,Tx. Sonny was performing at the Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo and this is from the Album that was recorded there. Well, it sounds like the same recording.

  • @PreservingMemories2 - Millie Kirkham was also a backup singer for Elvis 68-early 70's when in Vegas and tours. Thank you!

  • Thanks again, but in further checking I find she is Millie Kirkham.

  • You are so right. At one time I knew but had forgotten. Thanks

  • Another one of my favorite classic country singers. Not like they used to be.

  • This a great COVER by Sonny. The original was by trhe late great Ivory Joe hunter.

  • Thank You Sonny James for all the great songs and precious memories

  • Great record, but I doubt very much it was not a studio recording. The record company just dubbed the applause on. I've always thought that ever since I first heard it.

  • @5109annie1...Good on you .I love to hear good news .
