Chamberlain tried to avoid war, then when it happened he fought back and did not turn coat. The USA should have fought with the UK from day one and Hitler would have been stopped.

The Sudeten Germans wanted home rule and therefore there was nothing wrong with Chamberlains`appeasement policy in the Munich Agreement. Hitler`s aggression started afterwards.

@warriorprince1010 Britain and France shouldn't sell Czechoslovakia to Hitler and help us. We would stop him, when he was weak and millions of people should live..

one has to feel sorry for Chamberlain. Hitler betrayed the agreement and the English today are on the way to becoming a minority and dying out.
Hopefully history will appreciate his efforts.

@Bestideasyet , I feel more sorry for those who suffered because of his ignorance in not being able to learn from history that appeasement has never been a course of action to satisfy any enemy. The Democrats have tried this over and over and usually ends with our enemies firing at us with our own weapons. Bill Clinton gave nuclear technology to North Korea and look where that got us!
