why are loads of tasteless, close minded people talking about how crap the rap was. he has a very true massage and he is rapping over a funky rock beat, quite hip hop-ish infact. he is victor wooten's brother as well (one of the best bass guitarists in the world). he is speaking truth while doing what he loves (music), so suck it :)

I disagree with poster about rapper. We cant still live in the 1970's. Music evolves-and Steve Miller agrees because he had his keyboard player do it. The rap is not the usual crappy nigga stuff. He has given these old songs new life and I think they are great even though I am over 60 myself. If you think about it, rap is poetry-it is up to the individual to determine the quality of the message.
