what's "rediculous" is that no one has manners anymore, or cares about them (or can spell).

Well i am 28 but this information film has certainly made me think a little about my lack of table manners. They are no where near as bad as the 14 year old kid in this film but i could certainly do with improving them a little. However, this lad was teaching the American way of holding cutlery and Im in the UK so i may need to do a little further research.

In America these may be good manners, but in Britain and Ireland if you did these things it is rude. One certainly shouldnt saw food but tear it for one

The father sounds like that narrator on some of the Loney Tunes classics made during this era. :-)

Watching this reminds you to be thankful you weren't born in the 50s .. people weren't allowed to be individuals - they were expected (and coerced from childhood) to be robots. Of course, some people would say that they still are :) but at least modern methods are "gentler"

If you take nothing away from this video, make sure you learn one thing: NEVER WAVE A BISCUIT IN FRONT OF YOUR BOSS' FACE!

After re-watching this, I have come to the conclusion that the bow tie as standard dinner attire is a practice that needs to be resurrected. Bow ties with dinner: I'm bringing it back!
