Of course it will. It is called a public option and do some research on the profit magins of the insurance companies. Where do those come from? You need to wake up. Also, remember that as tax payers we still pay for the uninsured and that medical costs are expected to go up in the near future. BTW... what ever happened to business competition??? You don't think insurance companies care about YOU, do you?

It wont be an option when the gov.drives everybody else out. Obama says a public option that's non profit .How can anyone compete against non profit. Obama said he wants a single payer plan the public option is just a back door to get us there. WAKE UP

What the heck are the issues people? Those people that disagree are not giving any specific "real" reasons why they disagree. The current private only option does NOT work people! Allow for a public option. Optimal word "option"
