(Scroll down for an english description) De la Wikipedia en inglés: El Stearman modelo 75 (Boeing) is un biplano del cual se construyeron al menos 9.783 unidades en los Estados Unidos durante los años 30 y 40, como un avión de entrenamiento. Stearman se convirtió en una subsidiaria de Boeing en 1934. Conocido habitualmente como Stearman, Boeing Stearman o Kaydet, este aparato sirvió como avión de entrenamiento primario para la USAAF, avión de entrenamiento básico para la USN (como los NS y NS2) y con la RCAF como Kaydet a lo largo de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Tras la finalización del conflicto, miles de unidades se vendieron al mercado civil. En los años inmediatos al final de la guerra, fueron muy populares como fumigadores y aviones deportivos.

From Wikipedia: The Stearman (Boeing) Model 75 is a biplane, of which at least 9,783 were built in the United States during the 1930s and 1940s as a military trainer aircraft. Stearman became a subsidiary of Boeing in 1934. Widely known as the Stearman, Boeing Stearman or Kaydet, it served as a Primary trainer for the USAAF, as a basic trainer for the USN (as the NS & N2S), and with the RCAF as the Kaydet throughout World War II. After the conflict was over, thousands of surplus aircraft were sold on the civil market. In the immediate post-war years they became popular as crop dusters and as sports planes.
