As events in Persia spiral out of control, expatriated Iranians around the world are demonstrating their suppport for the post election uprising and assert their belief that the election was fraudulent with little or no evidence, beyond mass dissent, to support the claim. In Los Angeles, home to an enormous Iranian population, the community has been highly vocal yet cautiosly anonymous. Whether attributable to routine incompetence or more nefarious motives, most U.S. media organizations are treating allegations of election fraud in Iran as statements of fact. In particular, talk radio and cable news interviewees who claim the recent presidential election was fixed, are not being asked to support their assertions even though articles published by The Washington Post, Truthdig and Politico offer compelling evidence that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is the likely victor.

  • seriously!!!! everyone looks as if they just came out of a Club.... there's just no one intelligent to comment! .........typical Shah supporters--- nothing more to say!

  • wait i thoguht kamran and hooman said they are canadian what are they doing here at a iranian protest??

  • The Iranian people can say what they like and this is exactly what they did by voting 65% for Ahmedinejad. By moving out of Iran to the USA - a country that supports sanctions and is Iran's #1 enemy you have proven how "loyal" you are but dont expect Mousavi supporters in Iran to share your view. The vast majority of Mousavi supporters in Iran prefer Ahmedinejad voters to you guys so spell out what you REALLY want and dont use an islamic revolutionary (mousavi) as a cover to your real intentions

  • On election day an Iranian can vote in ANY ballot box he/she chooses Thats why cities like Tehran showed very high voting rates (over 100% in some cases) whilst the villages had low voter participation. Every voter's finger was marked with ink that cant be washed away for 4 days. Does anyone seriously believe that 12 million (!) people cheated the system in multiple polling stations, and that tens of thousands of Mousavi supporters werent aware despite their presence in all polling stations???

  • wasn't there anyone more intelegent to comment on d situation? and y d hell r people scared to say they hate d government ?..y r they not naming names?...
