@killerridok Don't get me wrong I have learned a lot from these videos. I just disagree with this technique. I think is too risky and limited to one scenario that only happens early game and in case of zealot rushes.

TREBIS i missed u u noob cake

it's noob school not pro school ;)
and I ask my self: why not build the ramp off if you ve got that many and mix a siege in it
repair with scv's and ur done

Sorry, but I do not buy this idea. It may work with zealots (walling with supply depots it's better), but having your army trapped is never a good idea. Can you send an example of a Pro using this type of building placement. I have never seen a PRO do something like this. They normally put the buildings together blocking the enemy with the buildings and allowing new units to appear at the other side of the wall only if they were unable to detain the enemy at the ramp.

honestly i think that it is a good idea but against player im pretty sure they would go for the mineral line

Personally I don't like this. One storm and you're dead.

@Prelude2nr just google this first link
'Unit Tester Online v0.96 (North America)'

A setup that's one space wide will have any tanks and thors caught in your base, looping endlessly being unable to escape save for manually directing them through the mineral gatherers. Using the mineral patches as a funnel was a better idea even though you lost, because it's more indicative of what would actually be available and prudent.
It'd probably be better to mention that you can place SCVs between the m&ms and zealots to plug up the hole.

could you tell me what custom map that is?

yeah and then u get blocked in with force fields
I really like your idea here. Show one tip, small and digestable. makes sense.

@psb1964 That's the idea

Nice :) Having that placement also saves yourself from getting units stuck in between the buildings. I always have such a tight building placement that some units spawn on the inside and can't get out. Surely going to use this 1 square of room placement.

@Deman92 It can be hard to remember sometimes in the heat of battle, but it's well worth it :)

to counter this as protoss: forcefield where you see the marines trying to hide and kill them all.
