  • Almighty God is at work in the Philippines and throughout the Middle East also. Hallelujah!

  • @Here4Years Well, because He's historic, gracious, real, alive, and wonderful. He teaches us to love and forgive, and embodies those virtues, too.

  • @Lally162 Amighty God is at work in the whole world, Imagine, in this time of islamaphobia... still, islam is the largest growing religion. WEIRD? in western part.... thousands of people converting to Islam. When non muslim keep preaching islam don treat women equally, still women is the largest number who converted to islam. God at work huh??

  • @ndrthrdr1 Until man becomes omniscient & is able to read God's mind & determine whether a prayer was answered in the best interest of ALL concerned, studies of this nature are worthless. There must be proof of 1) the deity being prayed to is THE GOD, 2) the spiritual relationship between the person doing the praying, & THE GOD, 2) the motive for the prayer, 3) all possible outcomes & their consequences. When you become omniscient, come back & we'll discuss this in full. Thanks.

  • @MsJudi54 You obviously didn't Google that study and read through it. That was Christians praying for heart surgery patients. They thought that prayer DID work, and the results showed that they may as well have been wishing on a star. Studies that are scientifically conducted always show the same thing. Prayer doesn't do anything, no matter who is praying. The religious only imagine that it does.

  • @ndrthrdr1 ROFL!! An atheist saying that prayer doesn't work, how droll and comical. If I hadn't seen prayer work for myself, I'd give it all up. Prayer doesn't work when one is praying to the wrong god/goddess, when one is praying with unconfessed sin, and when one is an atheist. Puhleeze, give it a rest. You just don't know what you're talking about, and it's time to give up the jig.

  • @MsJudi54 Google this:

    heart patient prayer study

to see the results of yet another properly conducted study on prayer. Prayer has absolutely no effect outside of the mind of the person praying. None at all.

  • @ndrthrdr1 I don't make up words. They are found in the Holy Bible. I have reasonable expectations regarding God, also, and it is based on evidence that includes empiricism, rationalism, and faith. Atheists and non-thinking people would like you to believe that belief in God is irrational & illogical, but contrere ma cheri!! Faith is not blind, it is quite reasonable and based on much evidence, particularly where God is concerned.

  • @MsJudi54 You're simply redefining the word to fit your purpose. You have reasonable expectations in your traffic analogy, not faith.

  • @ndrthrdr1 Faith is absolutely a path to truth. Example: I have "evidence" that given laws & traffic signals, MOST people will not float into another person's lane & cause damage. That's faith based on evidence. I have faith that you will obey the laws . . . maybe you will & maybe you won't, but evidence shows that the likelihood exists that you will. Think, just think. It's not that hard.

  • @MsJudi54 Faith isn't a path to truth. Faith is accepting as true that which is not supported by evidence, or in spite of evidence to the contrary.

  • @ndrthrdr1 Now you're being silly. Again, you're just spouting the common anti-theist epithets, with no original thought of your own. Truth is found through humanity's 3 means of perceiving their world: empiricism, rationalism, and faith. If you drive on the freeway, sit down in a chair without first testing it, eat food that you yourself did not cook, then you are acting on faith. Logic, my son, is a terrible thing for you to waste.
