Blacksn0w iPhone 3.12 Unlock Doesn't Work

Black rain doesn't work - at least for my iPhone 3G 3.12.

This is not really a tutorial video, but rather, a video to bring attention to an issue that faces a small percentage of iPhone users who are unable to unlock their devices.

This release of Blackra1n/Blacksn0w was suppose to be able to jailbreak and unlock any iPod/iPhone device with the latest 3.12 firmware. This includes the iPhone 2G, 3G, and 3Gs with the 05.11.07 baseband.

funny my 3g on that firmware works great no wifi problems unlocked it in 1min

install Cydia, let it respring, open Cydia up, let it organize Cydia, open BlackRa1n and then install blacksn0w. It works!!!!

Try downloading ultrasn0w from cydia. That worked for me.

Customers planning to Unlock IPhone 2G, 3G or 3GS PHONES FROM O2, DO AS THE FOLLOWING (THIS IS A LEGAL WAY TO UNLOCK):

Firstly, complete the unlocking form - it will take up to 14 days for the iPhone to be unlocked and we'll text you to confirm the unlock request. Then place a non-O2 sim into the iPhone and connect to iTunes via a USB cable. iTunes will confirm that the iPhone has been successfully unlocked.

OK i had this problem its actually easy to fix. What you wanna do is take the sim out, go to settings>General>reset then select erase all content and settings, then after u do that hook up your iphone to a pc then run itunes and set up as new iphone you get 5 chances or some crap after that run black ra1n and the sim unlock and it should work great.
