Ten free hours?
You can almost load this commercial in that time!

Used to collect the 3.5 floppies, erase them and use them as free back-up storage medium. Back when media files were still well under 1 MB.

Used America Online with my grandfather's 100mhz Pentium 1 back in 1995. I didn't even really discover actual webpages for a year since I was stuck just clicking around on the AOL hub. And then... I was corrupted! Yay.

I had AOL in 1995. It was cool.

Used to get the CDs of the later editions, throw away the discs and use the jewel cases to store burned data.

AOL was great back in the day. I even remember Prodigy which was before AOL.

THAT'S SO FUCKING TECH!!!

Still, major progress. Compaq sold the first sub-$1,000 PC in late '97. It had a 486-core Cyrix Media GX CPU running at 180Mhz, 16MB of RAM, little over a gigabyte of hard disk space, no 3D acceleration or 1024x768 hicolor ability, incompatible audio, and a terrible architecture where video, audio and the modem were literally on the fucking CPU die. Just horrible! Worse than a decent used 1995 machine, for sure!
