Yeah, know about the tone colour, guess i was too keen on taking it out in the big concert hall. I dont agree on the vibrato nor the "supposed" serenity for the movement. Where did you get that? I see it more like a sobbing trauermarsch (in 3 i know). I think its too old school to play slow movements slower than this.. Also i think its better for the overall view of the movement..

i absolutely love the way you play this. i adore this piece, probably one of the best flute pieces ever written in my opinion. i have a really strong connection with this piece and this is the only recording i have heard that is to my liking. I agree with you in terms of style and tempo 100%. I love that you don't use too much rubato and that you don't rush the 32nd notes. I agree with your interpretation as well. I feel like this is just a "why me?" piece. Beautifully done!

Well played. I agree that it needs to be more serene, more private, more personal.. some of the vibrato is a little too intense. Otherwise congrats, you've done a beautiful job :)

The tone and texture of the sound you produce is magnificent. Bravo. After hearing this I feel purified and enriched.

Hi, I'm considering playing this for my solo next year and I was wondering- where in this video does movement 3 start? Also, did you play the fourth movement? Thank you!
Oh, and I should probably add- you play very beautifully! I love it!

Awesome!!! I think you might have helped me decide my last piece <3

Great Job! I understand how difficult this piece is. I just played it and I thought you did a great job with it. Keep it up!

I thought I already commented on this-weird.. anyway, gorgeous playing, but you def need more dynamic and rhythmic color. Also, I don't think it would have hurt if you had just pulled up your stand just a little. Otherwise , maybe it would be better to just memorize all of your pieces.

This was awesome! Very powerful sound! I'm a freshman music major and this is what my teacher picked out for me to do, and I love it so far! Great Job!! :)
That would be my dad. Something was wrong with his camera i think. He couldn't see what he was shooting so he just had to guess his way through it..

have you ever played on a gemeinhardt?

I spend the first 5 years of my career playing on a Gemeinhardt. It's a very flexible and economic flute. And it has a very fair sound and a good response, but isn't even close being as good as the Nagahara flute i'm about to buy.. :) (obviously it's very relative what you like) So you own a gemeinhardt, or?

Your getting a Nagahara!!! lucky!...Yeah I play on a Gemeinhardt 3SHB and 22SP but im planning on getting an upgrade in a few years...Gemeinhardts have such a airy sound to me.

Okay, nice.. You don't see a lot of them in Denmark. Yeah, that's right. You might like the new Miyazawa's too. Fantastic mechanics and also a very bright unspoiled sound. If you like Gemein. i think you'll like Miyazawa.
