It has nothing to do with the media or feminism. Pick up a history book and you'll see that masculinity has varied throughout ages. The ancient Spartans grew long hair and engaged in bisexuality. The Greek masculinity also incorporated an idea of male-beauty. In East Asia, male-beauty was also popular and coexisted with the ideas of masculinity.

What? No no no no... You got it wrong! Arnold want to play a joke on Jesse so he tells the wardropedepartment to tell Jesse that his arms measure out bigger than Arnolds (obviously not true). So Jesse, feeling pretty damn good about that, says to Arnold: "We should measure our arms!", which is what Arnold was counting on. So they measure and Arnold, of course, wins and gets a bottle of champaign. I mean come on... google his pics... He may not be as big as earlier, but arms were his best trait!
