I have the impression that to penguins, man is a different kind of penguin, unpredictable, occasionally violent, but tolerable company when he sits still and admires Nature and leaves it as he found it. ~Aetopus/AC

WHERE PENGUINS LIVE: Penguins do not live in the Arctic. They live on the shores of Antarctica and they also live in the south of Australia, New Zealand, America & Africa. The most northerly place that penguins live is on the Galapagos Islands which is near Ecuador in South America. Even though there is ice in Canada and the Arctic, penguins don't live there or in the northern half of the world.

The Arctic land is mainly tundra and covered with hearty plants like moss and lichen which caribou and muskox feed on. A wide range of marine mammals and fish live in the Arctic ocean. Whales, dolphins, walruses, arctic fox and seals all make their homes there. The great polar bear depends on these marine mammals and fish for survival.

No other animal other than penguins can draw attention to the environmental damaged caused by oil and gas drilling (fracking and mountaintop removal), my reason for ending this video with the message "NO TO ARCTIC DRILLING!" ~Aetopus/AC

This is wonderful, thanks to the wonderful camera men, Mike Rowland for putting this film on for us to see & Greenpeace are my heroes. I would have happily gone there with them. Sad, that the monsters that 'run' our beautiful planet, don't seem to think it & all the creatures living on it (including us) are worth caring for.

Beautiful music and video. I'm wondering about the connection at the end with "no to big oil drilling in the Arctic." There are no penguins in the Artic.

Read video description; Penguins are Ambassadors for those opposed to drilling ANY region on earth. After 16 years US scientist are so happy they successfully drilling into Lake Whillans, a subglacial water expanse hidden deep beneath the Antarctic ice sheet; and report findings to oil vampires. The site resembles a factory with generators, water tanks, labs, data centers, mountains of solid waste pollution and of course the actual drilling platform where Emperior Penguins live.

Antarctic.....................­.............................n­ot arctic, still great tho, NO drilling ANYWHERE, and its a good thing that the Antarctic Treaty exists. I just wish it went for the next 100000000000000000000000000 years instead of 50.
