@hotCoolaid123 haha i wish! all i had available to me was Youtube, Google, and a few free study halls a day. I'm only a month or two in and I've already got a relatively good idea how the basics work. Honestly though, i would advise getting a tutor or finding a program, but it's definitely possible to teach yourself. personally i'm going to get a pen pal which helps a lot )or so I've heard).

It's very different from European languages like French, German, and English, and they have strange quirks like particles and their adjectives work in very different ways. BUT, with enough practice it's quite simple, especially pronunciation. the really hard thing is thier kanji writing style. god help me when i start learning THAT in a few months.
