What should the Filipino North Americans do to help our brothers/sisters back home? Donating money to American/Canadian Red Cross doesn't do shit! We all know they are corrupt and steal the money. There should be a way to send bottled water, diapers, canned foods, blankets etc. Tell me what you need and I'll do my best to tell the Filipino community where I live to help. Filpinos in Canada/US we gotta do this OURSELVES. Don't rely on the RED CROSS!

My heart goes out to those who have suffered losses and will yet suffer from the after math of this event. People will have lost their mothers, grandparents, children and other family members to this tragedy. To those already stricken by poverty and hardship my prayers for you. I hope my country offers some kind of aid, and will watch for it. ~Canada
