Mayor Proclaims"William Rollings McMahon Day for Organ Donation Awareness"

Mayor Mike Wiggins of Pensacola, Florida proclaims May 15, 2010 "William Rollings McMahon Day for Organ Donation Awareness". In memory of 16 year-old William McMahon who passed away waiting for a liver transplant. Kim McMahon his mother, who founded a non-profit foundation in is name to bring education and awareness about organ, eye, and tissue donations accepts the proclamation. She is accompanied by Kristen Fairchild who is the director of the teen volunteer group Chain Reaction. With their help the annual Middle & High School Organ Donation Week was begun three years ago. www.Will2Live.org

Kim WOW YAY Im in tears over here in Michigan with happiness for you and your work. We are so very proud of you and the strength you have in order to have done already what you have and not to even begin to think about what you still have to accomplish! William is a blessing in our lives and because of you and others like you we too continue to try and raise awareness for not only organ donation but for finding a cure for childhood cancers like leukemia.
