An offer I couldnt refuse came my way from a member on a forum that Explosive Action told me about. Its a great community and now I'm the proud owner of the first pile of up to 300 Beta tapes. Some real gems from the golden era of home video.
This wouldnt of happened if it wasnt for Simon Mr Explosive Action so a huge shoutout to you champ.

Great collection here man. And yes you're lucky to have them in such great condition. Here in England most of the pre certs that I find on ebay are diabolical condition with rips, tears stickers, water damage etc all over them. And by the way the cover art for 'The Lift' is indeed brilliant. I thought the same way when I first rented it. Sadly the actual film is a load of crap. The one 'special' effect when a guy gets his head decapitated in the lift needs to be seen to be believed!

AMAZING LOT!! I only have about 3 betas wish I had more, NOTLD I saw the color version tv and didnt like it, took away the gritty nature. The evil looks cool, I love the box art and its in great nick. Halloween 3 is uncut on beta, the dvd in australia is censored. I agree bloody stupid how they put stickers on the slick, i just don't get it. Zombie flesh eaters is actually a cut version, I love winged serpant!! Halloween 2 is my fav roadshow, brilliant vid mate

Excellent little editions there! So many amazing things Matt I can't even begin to comment here. NOTLD looks amazing. The Link. Got TerrorVision, it's quite a collectible now.

What a stunning collection, I'm literally speechless. It got me as excited as when I got the Electric Blue box lol.

I've got The Evil, it's not a bad flick! The old Halloween 3 is uncut, whereas the DVD is not.

K&C and Starbase were the same company. Tassie is beautiful BTW.

Matt, this would to be the score of the year! Amazing stuff there, all in superb nick. The Halloweens are to die for - been looking for all of them on Beta for years. And of course Alone in the Dark is excellent. I've never seen any Beta K-tels in my travels. Does this guy have any VHS to get rid of? lol Great video.

oh! my dutch friend taught me about The Lift (or De Lift) apparently a great dutch horror film. Didn't know it was released outside of the netherlands

I originally lived in tasmania, not suprised they kept Videos in such good condition, cuz there's not much to do in tassie! :P Mum jokes we kept beta alive since we were a bit behind!

Totally jealous! is there anyone else in the community that collect beta besides us?
