Musical instrument of extraordinary proportions

The GANZ Hydraulus is a musical instrument that explores a new dimension in music. http://GanzHydraulus.com

Based on the ancient Greek Hydraulus, but operating in reverse of the usual system of compressed air, it consists of a cone 300 feet tall, a ring of pipes 100 feet across, and a soaring interior space kept below atmospheric pressure. Five thousand pipes, placed in specific locations, create patterns and shapes of sound that shift with the the pitch of the music.

Listening from inside the wind supply, visitors to the GANZ Hydraulus will hear music unlike anything heard before.

Your response 'hope you are right when you die' - it's pretty well much all RELIGION has, playing on man's instinctive fears - when I am dead will be no different to before I was born - I will not know anything, I will not care. Trying to scare me with the death thing.. come on! It's religion saying if we're right you get eternal life, if we're wrong, then you won't know anyway, so you might as well hedge your bets and believe in 'our' god (oh, but not the muslim one!)

@JesusFreakMathGeek6 I have got space in my beliefs for a god, just NOT the god of 'religion'. When you think of the many million, million to one chances that it has taken for me to be here writing this, I can see how there could easily be a god/intelligent designer. Went to church for 7 years & it was all rubbish - man using the idea of god for their own ends.

@EscapeMCP I am well educated in science and math and believe in a God. Things are just too complex especially quantum electrodynamics and quantum chromodynamics. @LIGHTRONIX Sorry, I don't have a problem with God, but rather the whole system of religion. The church spent far more than this 'instrument' will cost building cathedrals etc to impress man, all to overawe him into believing that it must be the work of a god & gain power for the corrupt clergy.

Now that man wants to build a cathedral to science, you complain about Africa. The small (relative) cost of this will NOT help out Africa, but rather keep her reliant on aid(/missionaries). Trade not aid

@LIGHTRONIX Some of us don't believe in your god. Maybe if you spent the money that you spent on your 'missions' on the same starving Africans that you are trying to convert, WITH NO PRE-CONDITIONS, then the whole world would be a better place.

For people who believe there is no god, & believe in Science instead, it's indeed the physical world that connects us. It's the amazing chain of events that have lead to this place in time & space, that allows us to build shit like this & be overawed.
