First day in HK and straight into the city for a night photoshoot at Ocean Terminal rooftop carpark. Includes directions on how to get there, behind the scenes footage and example images before and after editing. I also discuss settings, and why I make the adjustments.

On the shoot I met a couple of kids from Thailand, who were visiting HK for a week. They were shooting away and I loaned them my wide angle to grab some shots.

Please subscribe -- Lots more travel videos coming up in the next few weeks.

Gear used on this shoot was:
Nikon D5100
Nikon D3s
Tamron 10-24mm
Nikon 24-70mm
Gitzo GK2580 traveller tripod
Joby Gorillapod FOCUS

  • Haha, do you live in City One Shatin?

  • @alexngai321 why do you ask?

  • Hi Matt,

Is possible to included a person in focus with such great night scenes in background? and how?

    Thanks

  • @whanauli yes of course. I should do a video on that. Basically, you just flash the person in at the end of the exposure.

  • @thatnikonguy

thank for the reply. I am new to this kind of photography, can you explain how to use the flash to flash the person in at end of such long exposure.

  • @whanauli I will make a video on it.
