For psychological relief, some Peruvians may turn to a drug journey that includes hallucinations. But they don't experience the drug alone.

  • @mai2xs lol

  • @Freakyimage it is nothing like weed.

its like weed in the sense that it is harmless, but its effects, chemical structure and everything else is different

  • sounds really good man and like i said i wanna go out into the desert while the sun is about to set and take it under the stars and just trip.....

  • Mescaline, either synthetic or organic (such as occurs in the hallucingenic cacti) is an excellent choice for a first trip. It has a warm, rosy, happy feel to it, and bad trips / paranoid reactions are very rare. As always, set and setting are key. Do it a a time when you feel good, in a beautiful place, with people you know well and trust. You don't even have to go through any vomiting -- peel the outer skin off of the peyote (easy if it's fresh) and hold it in your mouth a long time. Yes!

  • the only thing ive ever tried is marijuana not because i want to smoke it but it brings me happiness and it makes me feel like nothing in the world matters but ive always wanted to just venture out into the desert and take peyote under the stars

  • Its just like weed.. almost

  • Mescaline is the alkaloid or drug.

  • that happend on avatar, that kid with the boomerang drnk it and had halluciations

  • You can get it in southwestern Peru and northern Chile. I've never tried it, but I'd like to. I took peyote (which contains mescaline -- the same hallucinogen found in San Pedro) once about 15 years ago. A vey good friend and I took it and spent the day climbing to the top of a mountain near the valley where he lived in southern Oregon. It was a perfect day . . . I'm glad I spent it with him and Mescalito. It's a presence, a teacher, difficult to describe, but very helpful and wise. *****

  • i would love to try that sometime as a tourist
