Disassembly / Assembly of the Ruger MK III 22/45 .22LR hand gun. If your gun is new, taking it apart will require a little more muscle than this, but the more you do it, the easier it gets. Have Fun and Be Safe!

  • WHat??? I have heard people going crazy about how difficult these are to take down. If people have a hard time with this, I don't know what to say... What are you shooting??? I just looked at this video to see what was involved, to consider for a new .22 pistol, and that looks like a breeze to take apart compared to, say, stripping my lever action .30-30, and I have been doing that since I was a kid.

  • How was that difficult? That seems like a durable and well-built system as every review says it is. Thank you for this video, I was wondering what all the hype was about. I will be purchasing one of these soon.

  • Honestly if this is to difficult for people to disassemble/reassemble I'm not so sure they should be operating the firearm period. Every gun owner should have a Ruger MK pistol that's how great these little shooters are.

  • haven't bought this gun yet but I am about to, especially after watching this. one of my major scares was assembly for cleaning but with this video that fear is gone. Thank you very much!

  • I have a new Mark III 22-45. I stripped it down last night and cleaned it really good since I shot about 500 rounds through it. I got it all back together. However, The bolt is jammed up. I took it apart 2 or 3 times more, put it all back together and the bolt is still stuck and will not move. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • I did not buy yet was told it was a bear i am telling you you are a very clear in the instruction it looks easy....the way you do it...fingers crossed i book marked the video

  • Very interesting! Have an old FN Browning 7.65 (=.32) and when I have time, so I will show disassembly/assembly of that old military pistol.

    Greetings :-)

  • Very nice video, I am picking up my Ruger22/45 Stainless next week, I can hardly wait to shoot it, and take it apart.

  • This is a HUGE help for someone who just aquired one of these pistols.

  • I can't get the mainspring out. It doesnt pull with all the force and weight. Great video though. Any thoughts.
