One of my favorite games on the CPC, Cauldron was also the hardest ! Just to retrieve a single ingredient out of a total of 6 was an achievement. As a kid, I dreamed of defeating the king pumpkin and grab the golden broomstick to see the end of this game. A decade and a half later, thanks to some emulator and cheat code, i made my dream come true. Here it is for all Cauldron lovers !

  • And even better, the Witch goes mad with power and becomes the bag guy in the sequel. Which was just as bastardly hard.

Kids today don't know they're born, I tells ya.

  • all that for that ? oooh my dear :(

  • thank you for doing this for me and saving me the pain!!!!

  • Hahah that made me laugh out loud! Yes I remember this game very clearly, and also recall it was tremendously difficult... at least the thrilling end-of-game sequence made it worthwhile! I think I remember completing Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade on the 464 - just said Game Over! :(

  • nice memories

hey - do you know a game where you play a ship and you have go to all kinds of diffrent maps getting out of the ship and run to get bullets to fire at a barrier on the main map so you will be able to get the 3 stones in the bottom ????

  • Funny-looking pumpkin sprites in this version...

  • I tried Caulrdron after I completed Sorcery.

It was impossible to finish it without infinite lives. At least I found a magic poke and finish it.

    I think it was 1987...

  • I had this game on my Amstrad CPC 6128 and it is very hard to beat! Long live the Z80 and CPC 6128 :-) Thank you so much for this video, I had been trying to find this game on YouTube and I must say it is probably the only one that shows this particular game on the CPC 6128! I really wanted to hear those sound effects.. Please add more games if you can :)

  • I remember playing this game when i was about 4 years old. There was no way i was ever going to finish it lol.

  • that was a good a video gama i think
