@lowrid3 lol... obvious engine swap. look up mk3 toyota supra never had a v8 option. the v8 your friend has is prolly a lexus sc400 1uz swap. very nice.

they never made an 87 supra with a v8 it either had a 7m-ge or a 7m-gte both 3L inline 6.
