i like they're original sound but i think johnny marr's influence was a good thing too. either way i like the cribs.

my friend got to meet ryan so i'm pretty much in envy of her lol

They're original sound was so juvenile, Marr brings some depth to it. The Jarmans knew that they couldn't continue down the path of their original sound, it would have quickly become irrelevant. In the end, all I do is listen for Marr's sound in each song...it's the only good thing about The Cribs.

I doubt they write songs to be relevant. I wouldn't agree either I love ryan's guitar on the old albums its so melodic. Alot of people say he ruined the cribs haha.. I wouldn't agree with that either though..

@MuseumofMemory - The original sound wasn't juvenile! It was raw and exciting and quite original! Marr's sound and riffs wouldn't be nearly as good without having Ryan's behind to complement it, and vice versa. I do love this new sound may i add.
