I need a factory install for my acer one mini. (aspire one D250-1026) Short cuts do nothing and no cd drive. I have xp home in it .

My acer is Win. Xp and the one I am using the CD drive is windows 7, I don't think it makes a big differance but I can't get to use the CD drive. Also, I am glad you made this vid

somewhat related, and possibly dumb question: how do i add a new program from a usb stick? im trying to install american dj my DMX.. i installed in on my big laptop, but my lil acer one doesnt have a cd drive.. :( so i transfered the files to my usb stick, but idk how to install it on my new laptop.. im not very savvy with this stuff obviously.. any help? anyone? please? sympathy help?

Depends upon how it's on the stick. If it's a image (like an ISO), you'll need to mount it with daemon tools (google daemon tools).
If it's just a copy of the disc files, go into the USB stick and find the setup.exe file and run it from there.
