  • @themradax if you are talking about gene labell then you are wrong Steven segal would get chucked out and trown around like a little girl gene was a excellent grappler and if u watch any old Gracie video it shows a good ground game will fuck up alot of stand up just like karate and zen martial arts. Steven segal is a ACTOR and his martial arts would not work that well in a real fight

  • @zakalon123 listen ',silva and machida already have trainers in bjj and in muay thai, so they wil never go to bas rutten, couse they are with blackhouse gym ,and bas is not , if you want to question bas his credability as mma fighter, you are insane, and by the way seagal was only at blackhouse for one day and was pure for publisity, try watching ''examening the silva seagal shannigans'' that should tell you enough, but on the other hand, you probabli wont believe it ,couse of ignorence.

  • @RJPBurtonBoards I am not defending seagal or any of his shennanigins with the media all I started out to try and say is that the guy as a martial artist is not the prick people make him out 2 b. In his own art he was greatly respected even as a youth so must have something to get that as a foreiner in what then was essentially only a Japanese art. Its easy to ridicule people Muhammed Ali made that HIS own art.

  • @RJPBurtonBoards Well yeah that probably true but Segal is in the hollywood business and he is taking advantage of MMA to get publicity. "A long time" could be an hour as that is relative, how long is a piece of string? That said his exaggerations are then exaggerated by the rest so they can get THEIR own publicity and the media have something to write/talk about. Simple exaggerations then become to look like fantasies or downright lies

  • @RuthlessViking1 Not the best but perhaps more seasoned and keen. Whose to say Seagal was never in good shape hes 6'5 and he was lightning quick anyone who trained or worked with him would tell you that. Even though he gained some weight he's still relatively quick. If you compare in a tale of the tape way Seagals got some reach and alot of size and weight over Bas which would give him a little advantage. Not to say that Bas could knock his head off though. This is fun to talk about

  • @FightFairLoseEasy I watched the interview with Seagal after the Machida fight. He says they worked on it for a long time, which is utter garbage as Seagal trained with him for 1 day at max, same thing with Anderson Silva. Machida and Silva both said they knew that kick for ages and were just waiting to use it. Also, Seagal contacted Jon Jones right before his Rampage fight, no doubt trying to steal more fame, but Jones was smart and told him to gtfo.

  • @zakalon123 plenty get instructions from him just not guys from blackhouse gym, but we can keep arguing all day. bottom line, you have your opinion and i have mine .i think seagal is way overrated as a martial artist, he is fat out of shape and not respectfull and humble like a practisionar of a bushido art should be, you think he is a real mater that is gods gift to martial arts, i respect your opinion and hope with your knowledge of martial arts, you will never have a fight with a mma guy.

  • @RuthlessViking1 You still won't answer the question if Bas is the king of the cage, then why are the aforementioned MMA fighters not getting instruction from him.

Why are they going to a " fraud " like Seagal for training, if Seagal is such a joke in the martial arts fraternity, why would these top athletes want to be associated with him.

Even on a tenous basis. If I was an up and coming MMA fighter, Logic dictates, that you want to be seen with the best martial artists. Does it not make sens
