Welcome to the first look at my layout under construction. The layout was designed using RR Track while our basement was undergoing an extensive remodel. The layout is 22 1/2' x 14' and has 3 levels. Please keep tabs for updates in the coming months. Thanks for watching and enjoy.

  • brother, you've taken "wow" to a new level. just how large is your layout?

  • @2344F3 Thank you for the wonderful comment. The layout is 22 1/2 x 14 at the yard area and around 6 1/2' in the 2 elevated center loops. I have been wanting to do an update for quite some time because there is now a long via duct over the yard but I just haven't had time as of late to get done what I want. It is coming though. Please stay tuned.

  • @2344F3 Thanks so much. I am glad yo uenjoyed it. The layout is 22 1/2 x 14 and about 6 1/2 foot wide at the 2 center loops. An update is in the works, I know it has beena long time coming, but it is. I think everybody will like it.

  • This is a truly amazing layout you have created. It was very fun just watching your video. It definitely shows that it is a labor of love.

  • @joelschl Than you for the very nice comments. The layout has seen some changes in the past few weeks. Hopefully I will have an update for all to see. Work has hampered my building efforts this past summer but I have finally gotten some time to do some things.

  • Wonderful layout and filmed nicely. Even the music was enjoyable. It was helpful to see the transition from program to reality. Elveating the cityscape makes it look taller and larger. Perhaps you could put a subway under it with a couple cutout sections for viewing as it goes underground and then returns to street level. There are plenty of variety in the "zones" you can play in.Please do another video soon , maybe show some of your construction techigues. You rock man !

  • @norm108 Thank you so much for the wonderful comments. I have been so busy this summer with work that I haven't had time to work on my layout as much as I would like. There have been a few changes that I think viewers will really like. I have thought about the subway idea. I am not sure if I could incorporate that into the layout or not, but who knows. There will be a new video coming soon I hope. I do have a few new pieces to share as well. God bless all of you.

  • awsome, need some lighting tho, somewhat shadowy, but love what ya did. congrats.

  • Great layout one of the best home layout I seen. I had the same ideal you had on the railroad ties to put under the tubular track could not count how many ties I rip out of 2x4. The ties look great under the track. I am building a layout in a 27x27 room. I have not got much done on it yet it is one level. If you have time check out my channel and if you like sub me.

  • @mrlionel1965 I would like to see your track plan if possible. Can you post a jpg or the RRT file?

  • How much money in that room? By the way, love the setup!

  • GREAT JOB MAN!!! LOVE IT!!!!
