@byron2521 haha - "back in the day"? i use that at least once a week to talk to the whippersnappers about all things pre-Iphone...you know, when there was still a cool sensibility about some music scenes, and things "underground" and "alternative" were truly that, because they were hard to find. you know, i keep forgetting, sonic youth goes back to what...1979? that is hard to grasp. i saw thurston on letterman last week. he now looks like a 50-year old kid! damn, i love SY.

@Gwillian91 Yes...lol. Old people can still rock! I was trying to find another post about Sonic Youth to reply to but lost it. I am in my mid 40's and and remember Sonic Youth, as my generation says, "back in the day". Anyway, this obviously much younger person had posted calling Diamond Sea an "indie song". I thought this was funny because Sonic Youth has been around long before the terms Grunge, Alternative or Indie were ever spoken...lol. If they are any of these terms, they invented it.
