@1016mskriss Your right. There's been lots of good music since that era, but the 1950's (and early 60's) was definitely the golden age of great vocal music (Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett, Johnny Mathis, Dean Martin, Frankie Laine, Guy Mitchell, many more).
When I listen to Nat King Cole I remember when I was young my mother would listen to Nat King Cole and Johnny Mathis while we did our jobs on Saturday and when I listen now it brings back good memories- at the time I thought it was music for old people, but I grew to love him too. His voice is like velvet: soft, warm and fuzzy. I love the King.
