Old Fashioned Gentlemen

Most all my favorite male characters who can rightly be considered gentlemen. *mourns the lack of such men today* Set to the main titles of Dear Frankie.

Emma (1996 Jeremy Northam and Gwyneth Paltrow)

Phantom of the Opera
North and South (2004 and not to be confused with Civil War films, this one's a love story based on a book by Elizabeth Gaskell. ;)
Horatio Hornblower (There's a whole series if you really love period dramas)

It's always the same problem, good women that don't find good men, and good men that don't find good women.

Can I give a little counsel?

1 - Search for those rare men/women in the right places, it's difficult to find gentlemens/ladies in raves, hippie parties, etc..

2 - "If I don't find the right ones, I will go with the wrong ones!" it's because that attitude that you remain alone or in horrible company. People that wants old-fashionable love hate those who give up their heart! Have patience

Exactly my point. Subtlety is a really beautiful thing when played well. Most modern movies are just too flashy for me, even the period films. There's something so emotional, dare I say intoxicating over a single meaningful glance or a soft brush of the hand/glove. That's the kind of thing that excites me. :)
