When a woman has an opinion and speaks her mind about things that actually matter, she should "shut up". that's how sexist the world of today is. They have to find reasons to discredit her, so they take it out on her accent, or other superficialities. Unless you behave like a good and proper wife, you are a "bitch"according to society.

Erm, at this point in her life, she had been living in the UK for eight years - of course her accent is going to change to sound more British if that is what she is surrounded by. I moved from the north of England to the south about ten years ago and when I go home, people always comment that my accent has changed. It's just what happens... Looking at the comments here, the thing that Americans fail to see is that to us Brits, she still sounds American...
