99cclarke you are an idiot, These guys do a very good job protesting, They keep it 100% legal and are very polite to people, do you really think they want to be wasting there weekends and evenings outside fur shops and financial backers, labs etc. . Problem being the Animal abusers and the people who profit are "never" willing to comment or talk, so it gives the AR movement no other option but to hold demo's

Not many at all, in fact, which just goes to show the patience and control they show in the presence of what appears to be some pretty childish provocation.

But why film the Police at all? In fact why film any of it - compared to a lot of the content on Youtube, your offerings are very professional, but after you've watched one, you've watched them all.

The seasons over now, but why not try something different like motorsport next year?

First, please don't call my reasonable arguments rants. As for the time I spend - I could say the same about posting videos on Youtube , but I respect the trouble you go to make such high quality products.

Secondly, if you call yourself a journalist, you must expect your impartiality to be questioned, so that we can be sure the reporting is unbiased.

Finally , what has the way the Police behave got to do with Animal rights. if they behave badly does it further the AR cause - or vice-versa?

What I do or don't support is immaterial, I can't believe you're devoting so much time to posting these rants!

The police are not 'ordinary people' by the definition of mass public, they are people who have been chosen and trained to deal with situations. When they deal improperly with situations, my vids show this, when they deal properly with situations, my vids show this too.

Please tell me - how many vids have I posted ? Out of these, how many show the police in a bad way ?

Come on Vegan Dave, you started it by posting the films, so don't be shy about getting stuck into some real debate. I don't have a lot of spare time either, and like you, I enjoy spending some of it exercising my right to free speech, so I expect an energetic defence of your role as an impartial journalist on both this and the other threads.

I'd certainly be very disappointed if you backed down at this point, so don't be afraid to get stuck in.

I never did get a reply from Hemizzle, Dave. Some people just post and then ignore you when you try to work with them, it's quite annoying! Sign of laziness if you ask me, and who is this 99cclarke stalking you and making these accusations? Probably someone from Shacwatch trying to cause trouble!

Please see my replies on your other recent posts, but don't forget the original discussions either. We still don't know if you really support the demonstrations and the methods used (including the recent dodgy "fund raising" activities), or are "just filming" as you said when first challenged. We expect objective reporting from a freelance journalist, so I'd like to see some sympathetic coverage of the ordinary people (police and general public) caught up in the demonstrations.
