My thing with EXP is: there to last 3 times as long as a regular set of strings but they cost 3 times as much so what have you really saved? With the coating on them they dont really start sounding good until you have worn about half of the coating off. At that time they start to sound like an uncoated string. kind of going in a circle here arent we? LOL. I personally want my new strings to sound good as soon as I put them on & if they dont last as long o well. I can still afford 2 more sets.LOL
