@joejay25 Well Iran at the time was fighting Iraq (the enemy of our enemy is our friend)
He outspent the Soviet Union and caused them to try to compete which collapsed thier economy. Also he only rose taxes because the Dem controlled congress wouldn't cut entitlment programs he wanted to cut.

Reagan spent more money than many President (military), He brought Mexican labor into this country (Reagan's 1986 Immigration Reform and Control Act aka Amnesty), did nothing to stop abortion, sold weapons to Iran (Iran Contra) and he rose taxes 11 times. Sounds like a f'n liberal to me. I for one am a TRUE CONSERVATIVE ! ! !
