Its reminds me grats days in Bulungu in Bandubdu province. I was 7 years olds. I can see Bulungu's port, waiting from the boat . This makes me cry. Oh my country, my Congo, my childhood. I miss everything.
God, what a song! Whenever it plays it reminds me a couple of lovers I ran into when I was about 14 yrs old and the song was just two months on sale. Then suddenly this girl with a sweet voice started singing to her man:KAMALE OZUAKI NGA NA MABOKO YA MAMELO, BOMENG' OYO AWA NA MOKIL...I walked by very slowly not to miss a note. This took place in the compound of the St. Alphonse Parish in Matete, Kinshasa. What a wonderful era it was! This song always brings my childhood memories back. Thanx
I was in high school, in Zambia -- Copperbelt. Good memories. Happier times. Kamala male. Does someone have Matinda?

I was only 8 years old in 1974, and I remember this song very well. Ah mboka na biso ekufi, ata nyere toko zonga.
Vive le Congo.
