In this week's episode, John Crowder tackles a commonly asked question about "putting off the old man" and "putting on the new man." Is this something a Christian must continually do? John also discusses topics such as the renewal of the mind and the true definition of Biblical repentance. Is it supposed to be difficult and depressed, or easy and happy? Take a big dose of the Good News this week! For more information on Sons of Thunder, visit us online at www.TheNewMystics.Com.

  • I just discoverd you guys and love what you are saying. But as a Jew I do have a problem with Martin Luther. He hated my people with a passion and wanted to annihilate us. I do know and accept Yeshua as Messiah and believe in the Gospels now but I just can't shake Luther and his writings. Pray for me.

  • @JarheadPatriot0311 There's a place of honoring forerunners despite their flaws. Embracing their strengths and not getting caught up on weaknesses. Luther's Medeival worldview would have been no different than most of his day - a product of corporate bias. But we sure wouldn't have the scriptures or the gospel as we now do without him. We would be neck deep in the quagmire of religion. If I never learned to eat the meat & spit out the bones, I wouldn't be able to glean from any teacher period :)

  • @JarheadPatriot0311 Martin Luther grew a fervent and seething hatred of the spirit of religion, of the lie of "chosenness" apart from Christ, and of boasting in genealogies that he witnessed in the Jews of his day... He went overboard and made the mistake of attacking the people instead of the demons. Love you man. <3

  • Oh. My. Goodness. Have you read Ephesians 4:20-25 in Wuest NT? Really really good.

  • @JarheadPatriot0311 Haha, love you Jewish Brother. I grew up Lutheran and then as an adult found out that my family was Jewish. Luther would appologize to you right now and think, "why did I say those things." Luther fell in love with a Jew and became a true Jew when Jesus found him. Bless ya dude!

  • Love ya, Johnny. And love the "Shakabonki" computer at the end. LOL. *HUGS*
