Read between the lines. These two are fags. Talking about comparing ones sword to the other's deck of cards, and putting their swords in their hands. Love the sexual metaphors.

Frid has been married for over 50 yrs. I don't think Anthony George was either, he was a playboy in 50's Hollywood.

Barnabas didn't drink his toast...

Burke reminds me of "the Turk" Character from "The Godfather" maybe it's just the restaurant setting. At least Barnabas didn't suddenly shoot him, or chomp into his neck, at the end of their interview...

Does anybody know where to watch full episodes online? Purchased the DVD's a few years ago and they were horrible quality.

I was making light. Take it easy, Prego1966
I loved Frid as Barnabas. Depp will do a good job, too. I'm sure.
I just thought that Stewie has a bit of the same Shakespearean element in his acting as Frid.
Laughter is a good medicine but I don't mean to offend.

No offense taken uncle, and the name is Eric by the way. Second to continue the other discussion, yes Mitch Ryan was a better Burke but I think they had plans for the 1795 story by this time and had thought of Tony George for Jeremiah at that time. Since Mitch had left, they decided to put him in the Burke role til the new storyline was ready to start. As for wopwoman's post , see my earlier posty about the disc quality,

I am one who prefers Mitch Ryan as Burke. Anthony George doesn't have that commanding presence that Mitch had.
